This collection comprises ten captivating flowering ornamental species and cultivars, each thoughtfully presented in three distinct variations during their full bloom season, amounting to an impressive 30 models per kit. It's worth noting that Kit 19 is currently in a pre-release phase, offering a singular season and, consequently, a reduced price.

Yarrow 'Milly Rock Red' (Achillea millefolium 'Milly Rock Red')

This compact herbaceous perennial features grayish-green, finely-divided foliage with a robust, slightly spicy aroma. Its flattened clusters of small, bright red flowers with yellow centers bloom throughout the summer, making it a magnet for bees. Notably, its specific epithet, millefolium, translates to "thousand-leaved," a nod to its intricately dissected leaves.

Mealy Centaury 'Steenbergii' (Centaurea dealbata 'Steenbergii')

A tall clump-forming herbaceous perennial with lobed leaves that sport a grayish-hairy underside. It boasts showy, deep pink, cornflower-like flower heads with a pleasant scent, attracting bees, bumblebees, and other insects during the summer. Its matte foliage creates a beautiful contrast with the vibrant flowers.

Blanketflower 'Burgunder' (Gaillardia × grandiflora 'Burgunder')

This bushy herbaceous perennial showcases erect but sometimes sprawling stems and long, narrow mid-green leaves. Its solitary, daisy-like flower heads in a deep red wine hue grace the plant from late spring to early fall. It's a favorite among bees, bumblebees, other insects, and goldfinches. The genus name honors the 18th-century French botanist Gaillard de Charentonneau.

Georgian Fleabane (Inula orientalis)

A compact-growing herbaceous perennial with leafy stems featuring hairy, oval, or inverted lance-shaped green foliage. Balkan Clary 'Blue Marvel' (Salvia nemorosa 'Blue Marvel')

Salvia Blue Marvel showcases ultra-large flowers, the largest among all Salvia nemorosa species. Its bright violet-blue flowers entice hummingbirds, butterflies, and other pollinators, while its scented grey-green foliage keeps deer and rabbits at bay. This robust performer has earned top honors in two prestigious shows.

Great Burnet 'Tanna' (Sanguisorba officinalis 'Tanna')

'Tanna' is a clump-forming perennial that forms low mounds of blue-green, crimped leaves, each finely divided into oblong leaflets. It boasts small, deep red, cylindrical flowerheads on wiry, branched stems during summer into autumn. This exceptional variety was bred by renowned garden designer Piet Oudolf.

Soapwort (Saponaria officinalis)

This rhizomatous perennial forms wide clumps of upright, stiff, unbranched stems bearing dark green, ovate leaves. It features terminal clusters of fragrant light pink or white flowers during mid-summer to early fall, drawing hummingbirds, bees, butterflies, and hummingbird moths. The plant's roots and stems contain saponins, which create a lather when boiled. In the past, it was used for washing lace, silk, and woolens, earning it the common names "soapwort" and "latherwort." The additional common name, "bouncing bet," is an old English term for a washerwoman.

Spiked Speedwell 'Blauteppich' (Veronica spicata 'Blauteppich')

'Blauteppich' is a compact grower that produces bright indigo-blue flowers measuring 4 to 6 inches during the summer months. This species thrives in sunny borders and rock gardens, requiring good drainage, moisture, and full sun. To prolong the bloom time, it's advisable to remove dead flowerheads.
